Minutes of the October 12 Meeting

--The Astronomy Open house will be Saturday, Oct 28th.
-Volenteers are Jenna, Alaina, Laura, Jess, Kristen, Rose and Chris.

--Outreach
-Outreach to Horace Mann gradeschool Thursday, Oct 19. Meet at 11:30 in room 120 (just like physics club). Volunteers Jenna, Laura, Rose, Krysten, Jess, Ryan, Gabe and Chris.
-There will be a Math and Science night on Nov 16 from 5:30 to 7:30. Jenna has the details as to where the school that is having this is. There will be pizza at this event

--We will be ordering more button materials so we can make more buttons like we did last year.

--We need ideas for the next speaker/panel discusion.

-Cosmology
-Pluto
-Importance of science in schools
-Funding in science
-Nuclear power/waste/reactors
-Deuling theories of everything
