Break Time!

Got my grades done at 11:00 this morning, so I'm now officially on break. I had an hour to spare before my grades were late, so that ought to quiet those who think I procrastinate 'til the last minute with everything!

In other good news: Thanks to a grass-roots movement by the faculty, program reviews across campus have been postponed. So I don't have to spend my break worrying about doing a review of the Physics and Astronomy Department. I'm free!

Well, mostly. We will have to ponder our program to come up with a plan for senior inquiry. Thankfully I have the very willing and cheerful help of the rest of my department on that. Some difficulties we'll have with senior inquiry include staffing (hopefully we can get some of our students into REU's off-campus to help with that) and 3-2 pre-engineering students (who aren't here their senior year to inquiry). It's going to be a challenge (that's the appropriate euphemism for pain in the rear, isn't it?)

Don't call me early tomorrow morning - I'm on break!
