Magic Smoke

Today was a practice day at the FIRST Midwest Regional robotics competition. What a day -- QCElite did an awesome job!

The drivers were doing a great job and the robot was mostly running as expected. I say "mostly" because an error in autonomous mode smoked a motor on the arm extension this afternoon, but the crew in the pit skillfully fixed it. The robot ran well in the last round against Wild Stang (reputed to be a great bot), matching their robot ringer for ringer!

I'm excited about our chances this weekend!
