Goood Eevening

It would have been even better if I could have done everything! For example, I missed the Phi Beta Kappa banquet. Peter and Ryan were both elected this year - congratulate them when you see them.

But after missing that, I made it to Nick's robotics team's award ceremony. It was very nice, and Nick won the "Oil Can Award" for working behind the scenes to create success without getting inthe limelight. That was really awesome.

And I got a team mentor commendation presented by Nick. It was quite touching. However, not nearly as poignant as the commendation for Ed and Betty Wegscheid who have given a ton of time for the past nine years, and are retiring from their volunteer service to the team. Wow!

Then I got a group call from the club members who were at Ribco (which I also had to miss). Sounded like they were having fun. And the conversation was quite amusing - thanks, I needed some levity to balance the poignancy.
