Trivia is Sooo Trivial
Well, I survived the Trivia Night on Friday!
I was totally stressed about everything, but it actually turned out OK. It might have been nice if we had had more participants, but I guess I'm glad it was not a big thing the first time I ran one. As it was, we made a nice little sum for the QC High School robotics team. A sum I was quite happy with, until my son John started to calculate how much it was per hour. Ignorance was bliss.
The physics club team did OK - ended up right in the middle of the pack. They were the only team who was able to name all the quarks! They were at a bit of a disadvantage for two reasons: For one thing, they only had six players on the team, rather than eight. For another thing, there wasn't enough variety in age, interests, etc, so I'm sure they all knew most of the same questions. Fun anyway, I hope!

Yeah, none of us knew the sports questions. But we all knew the science and science fiction questions. And yes, it was super fun. We so need to do that again.
