We Have A Boat!
OK, so that's just a 1/4-scale model. But after some work and lots of glue...
... the full-size boat is starting to look almost sloughworthy.
But there's more work to be done... Come by Thursday morning Science 107!

It's the boat!! Wheeee. It's definitely looking more boat like than the lopsided triangle that it started out as.
I just hope that there are good paddles to go with that boat! I remember that being a downfall in the past...
alainadragon: Sometimes an ugly duckling really does turn into a swan. But we won't know if it's a swan 'til we see if it floats!
meagb: We have learned our lesson about paddles (the hard way!) Last year not only did we make good paddles, we made lots of extras. So we still have some left over like the ones in the photo here:
