Three Thrilling Thursdays!

Nice weather we're having, huh? So far, we haven't lost power, but did lose Dish reception for a bit.

There are three short weeks of classes before break, and something going on each Thursday:

Thursday, Dec 6, 5:30 to 7 pm: Science Night at Eugene Field, theme = astronomy. Physics Club will be doing some demos. If you are interested in helping out, let me or Rose know and/or come down to the labs at 11:30 to help decide on astro-themed demos and get equipment together.

Thursday, Dec 13, 11:30 am: Physics Club meeting. There will be pizza and a trebuchet demo (weather permitting). Yes, I know there's a difference between trebuchets and catapults, but the kitty is too cute to pass up. We will also discuss a possible bake sale for the following week (I've already started baking. Now if I can avoid eating all the cookies...)

Thursday, Dec 20, 11:30 am: Physics Club Christmas Party. More cookies, LN ice cream, music, games,... yeah, just fun!

Yay, helpers. Looks like we'll have at least four people: Jake, Alaina, Gabe, and Rose. Can anyone drive? (Jenna can drive if we need her.)

Laura: Thanks for doing the bakesale advertising. I have the atrium reserved for Mon, Tue, Wed of week 3 for the bakesale, but we should make sure we will have lots of bakers before we commit to lots of bake sale!
