News from the Homestead

I have a new lolcat (see photo). Isn't he cute? He just showed up in our woodpile and adopted us. I'm back up to my husband-enacted limit of three cats.

Also, the quantumberry is currently in a state of superposition of red raspberries, black raspberries, pink raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries.

And news from the lab: the optical spectrum analyzer is broken, so that really slows our progress. We can't tell if we've got the laser set up right, if we can't pick up the output. Blah. Oh, well. More time to spend picking berries and playing with cats, I guess.
