Introductions: take 2

HOMECOMING
Regatta- we set a date to start the build- THIS SUNDAY at 230pm in
the science building
Festival- Jake will be writing a letter to Physics Alumni to invite
them to our table
Trebuchet- many ideas, but need to get them approved by Dean C.
Before we can move any further on them.

OPEN HOUSE
The physics open house is OCTOBER 5th.
Demos- if you are available please sign up to lead a possible demo. They are
timers(and their accuracy), conservation of momentum, drag, clips
from the Olympics(you tube room?), bouncing(elasticity),
projectile motion, the trebuchet, and friction.
Sign Up- email jessica-belle@augustana.edu to sign up or if you have
questions. She will be organizing the event.

FUNDRAISER
We will be sending candy through campus mail- Hallowgrams if you
will. The dates will
be from October 14-16.
Sign up- once we get this approved we will need people to man (sic) the table.

PIZZA
Papa Johns raised their prices.
We will be investigating other options that we may be able to get SGA to cover

ACTIVITIES
Netflix- email Alaina-Orwitz@augustana.edu your movie requests.
The IMAX screen is busted so until that gets fixed we will do other
things. Like
APPLE PICKING- Tomorrow- This Sunday!!!!
Meet at the science building at 11:45 because we will be leaving at noon.
Its going to be a blast!!!
