Physics Club Meeting Minutes

Physics Club

Gabe got an Award for his talk at the ISAAPT meeting this weekend. His power point presentation won among the student presentations.

T-shirts will be ordered on Monday. They cost 10 dollars- the extra money will go to fireworks money.

Petition SGA for some sort of funding — pizza?

Fireworks: May 4th training begins at 2pm. Show is at dusk (be early)

Physics Open house- available dates email will be sent out. Be looking for it in mid may. VOTE!!!!! The yeas have it. Now we must pick a date!

Outreach- 2 confirmed dates. MANY OTHERS. People love us.

Open House- April 27th is science day- look on QC Online for more details

Fundraisers: Trebuchet, ballista, the selling of dr. vogels pie $12, ice cream bars, glow sticks?

Alumni visit this Thursday- 11:30 pizza/informal discussion. 4-5 research talks (neutrinos and DZero) Fermi lab result of the week! Woo hoo!
