Current Events

Our Hallow-gram fundraiser is in full swing, and going well. If you want to order one of these Halloween-themed candy-grams to be delivered on Halloween, find your way down to the physics club table in the college center tomorrow. Or post a comment here, and we'll make it work. 50 cents to send a fun-size candy bar, 75 cents to send a glow-in-the-dark rubber duck that is dressed up for Halloween*, or $1 to send a regular size candy-bar. All Hallow-grams come with your choice of space- or animal-themed hologram sticker.

The report from the APOP people is that the boy scouts enjoyed their spooky Halloween physics demo presentation. Awesome!

Also, don't forget to order your pumpkin for carving at the physics club meeting next week. $5 per pumpkin - get your money to Jake Wietting, if you are interested.

Coming up:
Louis D. and Kyle will be presenting laser research at the Midstates Consortium conference in St. Louis next weekend. Wish them luck.

Watch for my students dressed up for Halloween. Once again, I am offering a minor amount of extra credit. Should be fun! Hmmm... what shall I be???

*It's way cuter that it sounds.
