No Loose Screws! We're All Nuts!

That's the chant of the QCElite, the Quad Cities' high school robotics team. Don't forget we will be visiting their build site in Milan on Tuesday.

If you are interested in going, let me know right away, and let me know if you need a ride or can offer a ride. We need to set up a time -- they are working at the build site from 6-8 pm. Let me know what works best.

Some info about the team and the robot:

* The team has students from Sherrard, Davenport West, and Moline High Schools.

* They will be competing in FIRST competitions at the Midwest Regional in Chicago March 16-17, and in the nationals in Atlanta April 13-14.

* The game this year involves picking up inner tubes and hanging them on so-called "spider legs." They get exponentially more points the more inner tubes they hang in a row. There are also ways of taking away points form the other team. For more info, you can view the animation.
