Summertime, Summertime
Yes, I know that astronomically speaking, summer doesn't start until the summer solstice, but I turned in my grades yesterday, so I consider it summer.
So now, hopefully, I'll have time to catch up on all the things that have had to be put off until the end-of-term rush was over, such as:
*    Seeing movies -- There are several movies come out recently that I'd like to see. I started with "Hot Fuzz." Although it is "not the kind of movie you should see with your mother," the boys and I enjoyed it very much.
*    Moving -- No, I'm not giving up my five acres and three goats. I mean that I will be moving into Dave Renneke's office as soon as he moves out. My plants should get better light there. Though Gabe suggested moving them to room 120. Hmmm, then I wouldn't have to move all that junk in my office....
*    Reading -- I have a ton of books that have been waiting patiently for me to read them. I have yet to finish "Far From the Madding Gerund" (luckily it is easy to read in snippets). I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but you might just check out the Language Log to see if its the kind of thing you'd like.
*    Watching Heroes -- Spoiler Alert: If you haven't seen all the Heroes episodes to date, then do what I am doing, and get caught up, then come back and read the rest of this paragraph. If you have seen them all, don't tell me about anything past episode 22. Anyway, I'm trying to make up ways that they can paint themselves out of time travel paradoxes. So Hero and Ando have seen this horrible future, causing them to go back to change it. If they do change it, then it doesn't happen, and they would not have seen it, and they wouldn't have any reason to go back and change it. But then.... I can't take it! The horrible future either happens or it doesn't. Please tell me they have a way out. Oh, well, I liked "Back to the Future" inspite of Marty McFly remembering a future which never happened.
