Bald Eagle Days

Physics Club is making a field trip to Bald Eagle Days on Sunday at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island.

The event includes many booths related to wildlife & conservation, including live eagles and falcons, renewable fuels, and - though it doesn't really fit the theme - live robots from the QC Elite Robotics team. See the robot that wowed the Midwest Regional competition last year, as well as smaller robots, even one made of Legos.

One group will be going at 10 am on Sunday. If you want to join them, contact Jess Belle. Another group will be going Sunday afternoon at a time to be announced (watch this space). If you want to go in the afternoon, contact Cecilia Vogel.

Admission is $4 - as always half-off admission for dues-paying physics club members.
