Physics Club Meeting Tomorrow

I got so caught up in the drama of waiting for the van Howe baby that I forgot to announce the club meeting tomorrow (Thur) at 11:30 am in room 120. There are plenty of things we talked about last time that we need to move ahead with. We also need to be thinking about other events - do we want pyrotechnics, panel discussion, T-shirt, etc? Come with your ideas!

So now the wait for a baby is over:
At 3:24 am yesterday (Jan 22), Jim van Howe's wife Farah gave birth to Eloise Imogen van Howe ("...a mouthful of a name but we like it!" says Jim). Stats are 8 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long. Congratulations, Jim & Farah. Welcome, Eloise!
