Science Day News Article

Did anyone pick up a Dispatch/Argus newspaper (free on campus) on Monday? They had a nice article on our Science Day Open House with a cool photo of our new Marsh-White-Award-funded acoustics demo! They didn't get my quote exactly right, but close enough. Vivian was also quoted in the article.

The article also gave a plug for the Physics Open House and Astronomy Open House coming up on May 10. Expect a crowd!

Those of you who were taking photos and videos on Sunday - are they available for me to post? or link to?

Update:
I just noticed that online they have another photo that they didn't have in the paper. It is a photo of Jenna doing a soapsuds explosion. Unfortunately, their timing wasn't right to get the huge explosion. I don't know if it was too soon, and it hadn't exploded yet, or if it was too late and had settled down already.

In the caption they call the explosion a chemical reaction, when it is actually a physical change of phase. I know Jenna says that correctly in her spiel. Oh, well, sometimes people think they know already, and then don't listen to what you say.
