>Dr Van Howe needs some help cleaning out the shop, come help Thursday 9.15 at 12:30.

>Apple picking this Sunday! We'll leave at noon from Hanson 120, to return around 3-3:30.

We need more drivers! If you know someone with a car who's interested, ask if they want to come and let Dr Vogel know.

>Nuclear Physics grad student Jenna Smith, who's been working with Dr Frank at Michigan State, will be visiting next Tuesday, September 20, at 11:30, to talk about her research and answer questions about graduate school. Phys 301 students get extra credit for attending.

>Science night at Longfellow Elem. is Sept 22. from 5:30 to 7pm. Arrive at 5pm to set up a table o' demos for the kiddies.
Confirmed attendees: Mark Hillstrom, Peter Draznik, A. Palm, and A. Kim.
Confirmed demos: Pig Reflection (NOT a hologram), Wheel/ weights platform

>T-shirts: Stuart displayed his progress with the T-shirt design. We still need more equations for A's, S's, and N's. \

>Homecoming Boat: The boat, which was built several years ago, needs some attention. Stuart was volun-told to be its captain, but we're still taking volunteers for 1st mate.

>Display: A large, blank wall is in need of filling with cool physics related posters and/or old Physics Club T-shirts.

>Fundraising Ideas: Pie your Professor was discussed, with possible dates being Halloween and Finals Week.

>Jokes were made about Ahmed's lateness, and it was resolved that a study be undertaken to determine if his lateness fit a Gaussian curve. The first data point for this study was recorded as 32 minutes.

>Ahmed made a half-hearted attempt to collect dues, which are $5. Please give him some money so we can continue to purchase important physics club supplies, e.g., pizza.

>Boy Scout Night: Nathan is a counselor for several Boy Scout Merit Badges, and is interested in hosting a night for local scouts to earn some of them. More details are yet to be decided.
